Welcome to the Ma lab. We focus on developing novel Machine Learning tools/ideas to solve problems in Biochemistry and Biomedicine, such as disease diagnosis, gene sequencing, and the design of bio-inspired materials for biomedical, bioengineering and catalysis applications. We are also interested in understanding fundamental issues of biomaterial self-assembly and structural growth that will enable the rational design of material sequence, micro/nano-structure, and functionality. Our research is highly interdisciplinary, involving computer science, biochemistry, biomaterials, biomedicine and bioengineering.
We learn from nature, and create a better future. Click here for a more detailed description.
